Modeling Jesus is a well written, thought provoking recipe for a closer walk with the Father. It's a must read.  ”I’d rather be intimate with God than be intimate with my circumstances." What a profound statement!!! As I sat there reading that over and over I felt the slight sting of conviction for allowing the awfulness of a current situation in my life overshadow what I know of God's Word and His Love for me. I say "slight sting," because when the Father brings correction it is always from a place of Love for us; powerful, uncomfortable but never painful. His Word is the Rule. His Word has the final say.
